On the fourth anniversary of Kosovo's independence, Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha and Hashim Thaci on Friday officially opened the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Tirana.
In his speech delivered on this occasion Thaci said that Albania and Kosovo are one nation but two states and will continue their path towards the European Union. He then thanked PM Berisha and the entire Albanian nation for their support. Prime Minister Sali Berisha considered this as a very important moment in fraternal relations between the two countries.
"The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Tirana and the Albanian Embassy in Prishtina, have a double mission; the mission of strengthening the international position of the two countries, regional and international cooperation, and another national mission: that of coping with determination to face the consequences created over a long period of division and undeserved restrictions", said Berisha./zeri/
