urkina Faso recognizes the Republic of Kosovo as a sovreign and independent state in accordance with the International law, said an official statement issued by the Government of Burkina Faso in Ugadugu. 

In addition, Burkina Faso emphasized its interest to establish strong ties with the new sovereign state.
